Facebook

So, I have just read this blog post of what facebook does to kids' brain. Here's the link to this webpage: What Facebook Does. Does everyone act the same on facebook as they do in real life? Well, I can truthfully tell you that the answer to that is a no for I am one of those people who doesn't always act the same. On facebook I feel much more confident. It helps me socialize much better than I do in real life, but even though having computer skills is needed for one's future, one must also be able to socialize in the real world.
Facebook helps me and I bet a lot of other people to get along well with other online but that does not mean that we have to spend the rest of our lives on the computer. I agree with this article here except with the little comment, "In other words, it's kind of like middle school," for I have never actually been to a public middle school. In other words I cannot really support that statement, but maybe you all do agree with it because you know how it feels.
I would not really stop using facebook though because it is a technology that a teacher can use in their classrooms. The teachers can make a facebook page and post homework assignments and other things which is helpful to the students. This is a way the students can know what they should be doing, and it can help them... AIM FOR THE STARS!!!
