Favorite Internet Teaching Resource Site

Recently, I have visited this website called Busy Teacher Cafe. This website has lesson plans for k-6 grade teachers who are busy and don't have time to create a lesson plan on their own time. This website has lesson plans for upcoming holidays, and they also have a lot of exciting activities for the little kids to do. I have found this to be a great, life-saving, less time consuming website for teachers. Even though for some of the holidays, there are no lesson plans made, it is still a useful place to go to.
Here is a link to the website: Busy Teacher Cafe
I believe that this is a useful website not only for teachers but for inters as well who are short on time and/or have no lessons planned out for a certain day or week.

Week 4 - Procrastination

Procrastination is a terrible thing that everyone false victim to once in a while. It is something that I fall into most everyday. I remember one day in class when we needed to do our "How to Demonstration" in class. The assignment was basically to show everyone how to do something and mine was how to draw a cartoon character. This was I had enjoyed because I love drawing, but love for something doesn't always mean that you won't procrastinate in doing it.
Well, I always like to procrastinate, but it never does me - as I am sure this goes out to everyone too- any good. I procrastinated until about 10 minutes before I had to go up in front of the class and do my assignment. If it wasn't for already knowing how to draw, I wouldn't have done really well. I didn't get a 100 because I wasn't well prepared, but I was fortunate enough to have received a 95. Procrastination is deadly, and my grades would've suffered if I wasn't so lucky. Not procrastinating is a great way for people and you to AIM FOR THE STARS!

Week 3 - Leadership Activity

There are a bunch of leadership activities that one can do and find if they look hard enough. At my field site I had found that a leadership activity that I can do is to help out with the gardening that is done over there. In my education and training class I can also do some activities for both TAFE and FCCLA. Those two organizations have activities and competitions for everyone who is in it to do. Leadership activities help everyone to

Week 2 At My Field Site

In my class, I have noticed that I have a student who is an auditory learner. I have found this out after when he was sent outside of the classroom to finish a lesson by himself because he was being disruptive in class. I went outside to help him get the lesson done and to help him catch up. He had started reading aloud to himself and to me, and I've noticed that he's been understanding the lesson better once he was done reading. At times he would say one word when another word was written down, but after he tries to sound it out he gets it right. Even though it is not much of a proof, it hints a little about what his learning style is.
Finding out what your learning style is would be a great way of helping do better at school and at the same time would help you

Week 1 At My Field Site

During my first my first week at my field site, I was surprised at how it was. Everyone at the school wore some kind of uniform, and I enjoyed see that. What I really enjoyed was my classroom and the class that I would be interning at. The class was cluttered and disorganized, but this had meant more work and fun for me. The more I have to do in a classroom means that I won't end up being bored and that I will be able to learn several things on how to stay organized. My teacher was fantastic as well. She is never afraid to speak about what is on her mind, and her way of teaching her class, which is stressing, is something that I must learn from.
The class is loud and at times disruptive. When one is trying to teach or explain a lesson, several start talking out loud and start being disrespectful. Some of the students are really sweet at times, and despite the well behaved (or misbehaved) the class is, I am still looking forward this semester working with them. Working hard and aiming high is my goal. Trying to overcome obstacles like this will help me grow and help me
